Duration: 12-16 weeks
A Business Analyst Intern plays an integral role at GeoComply, working on the PinPoint product at a key moment in its history. You will have the opportunity to capitalize on the existing momentum achieved and provide personal contributions to drive the product’s business direction and overall success. You will work cross-functionally between Business, Product and Development teams to design, research and propose solutions to business problems, remove roadblocks and drive future product direction.
What you will be doing:
- Support on all tasks, processes and strategies for the Business Development team
- Participate in high-level meetings with customers, stakeholders, and senior management
- Take ownership of conducting new market and competitive analyses, reporting and presenting insights to the team
- Take the initiative to identify opportunities and weaknesses facing the product; your insights will have a direct impact on the team and business
- Research and develop knowledge of updates and changes in gaming market legislation, regulations, and licensing
- Document knowledge in the form of formal and informal notes, manuals and reports
- Develop your subject matter expertise: maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s technologies, processes and teams
About you:
- Experience researching and analyzing new markets
- Some technical/product background with commercial acuity. You are passionate about driving business forwards
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presenting skills.
- Self-motivated and works well in a quickly evolving environment with many competing objectives
- Demonstrate consultative and value-based presentation techniques
- Ability to understand business and customer requirements, prioritize issues and escalate as required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to communicating with different parties such as clients, developers and infrastructure team members, across different time zones
- Resourceful, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of the gaming sector is an asset
