About You

The Sr. Manager, Data Science & Analytics will be tasked with partnering with key internal and client stakeholders and will oversee measurement, performance, insights and optimization deliverables.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify the “why”, “so what” and “now what” from a myriad of different data sources and will be able to act as subject matter expert and be a partner to both our internal teams as well as our day-to-day clients and their extended teams.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Work closely with the account and client teams to assess measurement and data science solutions (e.g., incrementality testing, forecasting, attribution and scenario planning)
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients to guide data-driven strategy and to deliver best-in-class insights, with minimal direction.
  • Build measurement plans against learning and business objectives
  • Design, execute, and interpret test results. Determine the data requirements, extract and manipulate the data and develop a coherent story with clear, easy-to-follow conclusions with actionable recommendations in a concise, organized fashion for all of the DS&A solutions proposed.
  • Use multi-touch attribution/digital attribution solutions to understand interactions, roles and conversion contributions between digital marketing channels
  • Serve the client team as an expert on industry and client-specific strategic issues.
  • Mentor team of analysts to develop Data Science & Analytics expertise, as well as career management
  • Take ownership of projects and programs, managing staff independently and efficiently.
  • Contribute to the company’s knowledge base by creating and sharing case studies, POVs and seminar/conference summaries.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with some courses in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, engineering or other quantitative fields
  • 5-7 Years Experience in Digital Analytics, with expertise across Insights & Optimization, working with data from paid search, paid social and display advertising, specifically with respect to mobile advertising
  • Experience in Digital Marketing
  • High level of fluency with R / Python and recent experience with hands-on experience conducting analyses using these languages.
  • Highly proficy GSheets and Mobile data platforms (such as Kochava)
  • Experience building and deploying modeling solutions such as
  • Marketing Mix Model
  • Attribution modeling
  • Time Series Forecasting (ARIMA, Seasonal Models, Ensemble modeling)
  • Demand forecasting
  • Experience with Machine learning techniques such as
  • Optimization
  • Feature engineering
  • Classification (Logistic regression)
  • Boosting and Bagging techniques
  • Model deployment into production environments
  • Fluency in statistics and applying statistical solution to business problems:
  • Hypothesis testing
  • Simulations
  • Causality
  • Accounting for confounding variables in models
  • Understanding of the business context and value-adds for overall projects
