The Global Center in India will play a significant role in the transformation journey at 7-Eleven by building products that support business activities at each of our convenience stores.
Job Description
The team in Bangalore will build and scale solutions for a 12000+ store network in the US and Canada. As part of the team, you will contribute to our global transformation journey in building new capabilities in cybersecurity, networking, store systems and digital. The job of an ML Engineer at 7-Eleven Global Center comes with a lot of responsibility and lots of fun. Youre looking for a role where you can drive decisions, be challenged, and build products ground-up. You want to collaborate with smart, creative, and energetic people, who share a passion for technology and commerce. Your responsibilities at the center include: Cues: Work assignments, responsibilities, the team, internal and external interfaces, etc. Design and develop Machine Learning and Data Science solutions for 7-Eleven retail challenges Operationalize solutions through automation of data pipelines Experiment with off the shelf libraries and/or build custom solutions using a deep understanding of statistical algorithms Participate with business stakeholders in the aras of personalization, supply chain, inventory management, labor management etc Challenge oneself and others in continuos improvement through proof on concepts, industry research, internal and external model bake-offs

And your skills include: Cues: List of competences and experience required for the role Must be a self-starter and proactive individual Expert knowledge of Big Data technologies including but not limited to Python and/or Databricks Strong Analytical and problem solving skills with a preferred academic background in Mathematics/Statistics Deep understanding of Machine Learning principles, available tools and libraries to fit the bext solution for 7Eleven needs Proficiency in Data Engineering frameworks, ability to understand and manipulate data and analyze data needs for a business solution Solid foundation and understanding of relational and NoSQL database princples
