Our Mission
86 Repairs is improving a largely overlooked and painful restaurant industry problem: fixing broken equipment. While other areas in the restaurant technology space have gotten new apps and innovative solutions (think: online ordering, ghost kitchens, point-of-sale), the repair and maintenance space has gone untouched. We’re changing that. Our name comes from the commonly used ‘Eighty-Six that’ in restaurants. At 86, we’re committed to taking repairs and maintenance off the plates of restaurant owners, operators, and frontline staff.

This is a contract role and it is not full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to create and modify Data Studio dashboards.
- Translate business needs into SQL queries (e.g. ticket metrics)
- Communicate clearly, on time and often, with internal business users.
- Ask clarifying questions to build reports that meet stakeholders underlying needs.
- Able to take a request and distill it into reporting.
- Is open to feedback and able to adjust work accordingly
- Can work against deadlines and proactively communicate when there are any barriers to meeting them
Qualifications
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Specific experience with Google BigQuery and Google Looker Studio (formerly known as Data Studio)
- Proficient in SQL
- Adept at working directly with business users to understand data reporting requests, refine requirements, and adapt to feedback
- Able to create/maintain Looker Studio dashboards as well as provide ad-hoc data exports via Google Sheets
- Skilled at managing stakeholder expectations and prioritizing based on business need
We do not require
- A college degree or high GPA
- Startup or tech experience (an aptitude for fast-paced, tech work is enough)
- Commutes: we’re fully remote; travel is dependent on your role.

- This is contract role with an estimated 20 hours per week at $30-$40 per hour.
- We’re estimating this will be a 3-4 month need with potential for full-time employment pending the needs of the business.
