This is a Test engineer role at , reporting to SCM Managerin motion division located in Vadodara. Develop and maintain quality systems to support internal and external quality standards. Lead internal teams in quality system implementation and serve as ongoing support for quality issues.
Your responsibilities
- Develops and implements quality systems (including quality plans and quality control plans). Provides consulting with internal stakeholders.
- Defines processes and procedures in accordance with standard requirements and ABB Group procedures, directives and policies on quality.
- Performs periodic audits to check the compliance of activities with requirements, procedures and directives. Prepares non-conformity reports and investigates their resolution.
- Participates in supplier certification and periodic evaluations. Performs evaluation visits to critical suppliers in qualification stage.
- Collects and maintains data on key performance indicators: Cost of Poor Quality, On Time delivery and others.
Your background
- BE / Diploma Electrical with 3 to 10 years of experience in testing of motors and generators.
- Exposure towards drive testing background. Experience in electrical background is preferred.
