ABB Turbocharging manufactures and maintains turbochargers for engines on ships, power stations, diesel locomotives and large, off-highway vehicles. We focus on how to help our customers today, while driving innovation in anticipation of future challenges. In November 2020, ABB announced the planned divestment of its Turbocharging Division. Turbocharging is a successful and profitable Division in a mature market and has been for long a highly self-reliant business within ABB. ABB has decided to take this step, acknowledging that for Turbocharging to realize its full potential going forward, a new setup is required. As the next step, alternative ownership options, including a spin-off to the Swiss stock market, will be assessed, considering value for customers, ABB and the future of the turbocharging business. This is an IT Administrator role, reporting to the Customer Support Manager business area Process Automation. You will play a key role in the carve out activities of the Turbocharging Division from ABB and help to build part of the IT Infrastructure of the future company! after that, you will be part of the Infrastructure IS team of the carved organization and will be the global responsible for ensuring that the Microsoft 365 Platform and its related services run smoothly and evolve over time.
Your responsibilities
- Supporting the carve-out activities and leading the Microsoft 365 topics from Turbocharging side in coordination with an external consulting company.
- Full responsibility for/administration of future company’s Microsoft 365 tenant operations.
- Installation, management, and optimization of M365 platform and related solutions.
- Developing and maintaining the architectural/platform roadmaps and related services.
- Architectural guidance for Microsoft 365 solutions and ensure that architectural and operational guidelines are followed in projects.
- Ensuring professional application management and coaching SharePoint/Microsoft 365 developers (internal and external).
- Delivering solutions/services according to agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs): on time, within budget and at high quality.
Your background
- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics from a reputed institution.
- Required 8 to 12 years of experience in Microsoft 365 platform: several years of practical experience with tenant administration (admin portals).
- Should have experience with subscription, user, and access management along with Intelligent Information Management (IIM).
- Should have deep knowledge of user authentication/Single Sign-On technology (AD, Azure AD, connectors.
- Should have experience with MS Teams services (Teams Live events, Teams Webinars, etc.) or extensive experience with Skype for business.
- Should have good conceptional know-how and hands-on experience with SharePoint architecture and operations.
- Good conceptional know-how and hands-on experience with Power Platform and Power BI from admin side.
- Should know-how about information security featured in M365 (firewalls, connectivity to different environments/tenants, data loss prevention policies, on-perm gateways).
