About the role

Job Description / Capsule

The candidate is expected to work as an Engineer for a large infrastructure support and maintenance function, spanning several continents.

The Senior Engineers should have specific, deep understanding and expertise in any of the two or three technology platforms below listed:

  • Windows 10 OS, MS O365 and the version lifecycle of these products

  • InstallShield and Flexera Adminstudio, Application Packaging

  • Microsoft SCCM Administration and Deployment, Tanium, Adaptiva One site.

  • Security Patching, Vulnerability Management, Client Device Backups

  • Mac OS, VPN, Printing and VM management for Clients

  • JAMF for MacOS Management, Print service Management (VPSX/LRS Solutions)

  • Intune / MSIX / VB-Scripting and PowerShell

  • Knowledge in Flexera Software Store

  • Microsoft Defender

Typical Accountabilities

  • Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the supported technology/platform services.

  • Initial triaging, and remediation if possible, of all P1, P2, P3, and P4 incidents.

  • Responsible for advancing incidents from events to CC/SD on outage Incidents.

  • Responsible for updating Knowledgebase articles.

  • Responsible for incident queue management.

  • Responsible for mentoring the team members.

  • Responsible for Vulnerability Management for Operating System and Applications

  • Responsible for working on Incidents, Changes, Service Request, RCA Investigation & Problem Requests

  • Responsible for creating and updating Known Error documentation.

  • Woking on ITIL Process.

  • Responsible for Managing Global Print server management and support

  • MacOS Complete E2E Support – OS Migrations / Compliance Checks / Package Creation and Deployment using JAMF

  • Windows Application Management and Supportability – Example., VPN-AnyConnect / Privilege Guard

  • Virtual Machines Build and Shell Creation using vSphere

  • Browser Services Supportability – ActiveX / URL-Redirections / Browser Compatibility and Configuration issues

  • MBAM Tool management for Bit locker recovery/services

  • Responsible for providing Technical Solution for Projects with Software Packaging

  • Managing E2E Lifecycle of software in production environment

  • Responsible for Intune Enrolment and Managing Intune Policies/update rings

  • Responsible for managing Windows Defender Rules

  • Responsible for Application Deployment and Compliance

  • Responsible for SCCM Infra Management and Upgrade

  • Responsible for OS-Lifecycle Management and Feature Upgrade

  • Driver Deployment for OS

Education, Qualifications, and Experience


  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent with 6 to 8 years Operational experience.

  • Experience in managing Incidents, Problems, changes and capacity management aspects.

  • Demonstrated ability handling large number of incidents via. Any ITSM tool

  • Flexibility to work in shifts on rotational basis covering Americas, EMEA and ASIAPAC regions 24*7

  • An ability to work effectively in a matrix organization is essential

  • A self-starter with high levels of drive, energy, resilience and a desire for professional excellence

  • Technical Certification in any one of the requested Technology/platform essential.


  • DiplomaBachelor’s degree

  • Multi years of work experience in Technical teams working in Shifts.

Skills and Capabilities


  • In Depth Knowledge on Windows 10 Operating system and their capabilities.

  • Experience with Service Now ITSM tool is preferred.

  • Operational experience with Windows 10 in Application Management and Driver Management.

  • Operational experience with Microsoft SCCM infrastructure and Deployments using SCCM.

  • Experience in MS Office 2016 and products to a level of providing support on the package as whole.

  • Application Management with packaging methodologies using InstallShield and Flexera Adminstudio.

  • Working experience on Mac OS, Print Server methodologies with centralised solution printing.

  • Operational experience in remote management of devices using remote support tools.

  • Experience with using Knowledge articles and documented SOPs to resolve tickets.

  • ITIL Knowledge on Change, incident and problem management. Must be strong in interpersonal communication and should have handled Priority issues and customer call and partner concerns.

  • Able to grasp and understand new technological trends / concepts.

  • Must possess good problem solving and communication skills.


  • Expert level of Experience in end to end Client state management with respect to managing Incidents, Problems, changes and capacity Problems, changes and capacity management aspects

  • Multi years of work experience in Technical teams working in Shifts on rotational basis covering 24*7 support

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization is essential.
