Responsibilities:
- Mine and analyze data from various sources to drive optimization and improvement of product development.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Develop A/B testing framework and test model quality.
- Implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Defining new data collection and analysis processes.
Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- Experience in using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Experience in working with and creating data architectures.
- Experience with distributed data/computing tools like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.
- Experience in visualization tools (Tableau, Spotfire, R-Shiny, Excel, D3J, etc) is an advantage.
- Good understanding of machine learning algorithms.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, etc.) and experience in applying the same.
- Strong knowledge in Linear Algebra Master’s in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Ability to generate comprehensive reports.
- Attention to detail.
