Job Detail:
Acuity Knowledge Partners is currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its Business Research team, based in Gurgaon. The team is part of Acuitys Consulting & Corporates vertical, and supports one of the leading global strategy consulting client. This position will provide an opportunity to work on secondary research (specifically pharma/ healthcare projects). The candidate should be willing to work on projects ranging across varied sectors.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conducting secondary research for various clients for pharma & other industries to understand the industry dynamics, determine the market size, examining emerging trends & making forecasts regarding future tendencies.
- Rapid research data collation and presentation from databases or Internet search
- Working on Ad-hoc Pharma projects which includes research support for Key Strategic Areas, research on Patents and Regulatory Environment, Market / Segment Overview, Competitive Landscape Research and Drug/Molecule Profiling among others.
- Adhoc requests for other industries include critical industry or market analysis, company analysis, financial analysis, competitive benchmarking, opportunity assessments, country or economic reports, scrutinizing the market value and volume information of different products & making cross-country comparisons for obtaining market insights.
- Contributes toward managing project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure high client satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in team with a short-term deadlines.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Pharma, Healthcare, or Bio-Technology.
- 0-2 years of experience in Pharma research, preferably secondary research.
- Proficient at using MS PowerPoint; command over MS Excel to process varied data sets in spreadsheets is highly desirable.
- Strong problem solving abilities and analytical thinking skills and adept at synthesizing information to generate insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, ambitious, flexible and willingness to work hard.
