Job summary
Amazon’s Retail Business Services (RBS) team is looking for a dynamic and talented Business Analyst. The Business Analyst will be responsible turn data and anecdotes into actionable insights and build the written report or could even use Amazon tools to gather additional data by working with stakeholders / partner teams, use data to build scalable ML solutions.
The successful Business Analyst is an effective listener, communicator and problem-solver with strong expertise in process optimizations and systems thinking. The Business Analyst will engage with many internal business partners to achieve best-in-class results for various programs under RBS selection sourcing.
Key job responsibilities
· Hands on with tech tools such as SQL/ETL/Python/VBA/Java etc. (at least 1 year relevant)
· Standardize and optimize processes across various amazon programs, and help the business grow
· Identify, Establish and maintain metrics across various programs in RBS selection sourcing org.
· Success will be measured by the performance of your task and deliverables on input metrics
· Execute tasks geared towards adding selection, reducing defects, increasing revenue and reducing costs for our customers
· Identifies gaps and drives improvement/ optimization initiatives that work toward a metric improvement within processes/functions at site level
· Develops processes/tool components with documented SOPs for new processes or activities undertaken by the function
· Audits completed tasks to verify sustained impact and partners with Retail teams to validate impact
· Contributes to COE (Correction of Error) by documenting any issues/RCAs/action planning in functional area and owns specific action/change
· Work with internal Amazon teams to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience
· Support the launches of new Marketplaces, sub-programs and features
· BI skills in setting/maintaining up of dashboards would be preferred
· Soft skill requirements include ability to: practice and cultivate innovation, optimize work processes, have strategic mind set, financial acumen and nimble learning, manage complexity and have situational adaptability.
