The Opportunity
Adobe Document Cloud is looking for an executive leader to drive AI/ML innovations in our Document Cloud products and services! Document Cloud is the world’s leading PDF and e-signature tools solution integrated across desktop, mobile, and web. It enables complete, reliable and automated digital document and signature workflows to drive business productivity and delivers delightful customer experiences.
We’re looking for a leader that has experience creating innovative capabilities in AI/ML with experience delivering those capabilities in products and services. This leader will drive data scientists and engineers to effectively deliver impactful digital experiences for our customers.
This role will lead the team that develops sophisticated automation features for Document Cloud. You will work closely with Machine Learning scientists AND software engineers in your team to build a pipeline of innovations that will continuously roll into our products and services. You will deliver server side, mobile, and desktop components to create the optimum customer experience possible. You will also partner with Adobe Research, and especially the Document Intelligence Lab, to demonstrate their pioneering innovations.
What You’ll Do:
Using the power of Adobe Sensei, you’ll build PDF solutions that will help automate many of the tedious steps in PDF
Build a team that will develop and ship new Deep Learning and NLP models
Guide senior technical and product leaders to deliver innovatio n into Document Cloud.
Partner with the Research team to incubate a pipeline of advanced projects that provide innovative features for documents
Establish a process to migrate those research projects into production, including desktop, mobile, web and back-end server environments
Help establish product solutions for these automation areas that align with our various go to market models
Lead a data team that provides datasets for model training
Present to Adobe’s executive leadership team
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Have deep knowledge of machine learning, especially in the NLP and Deep Learning areas
Keep up with rapid innovations in AI/ML across the industry and consistently bring new ideas to the team
Humanize AI: Translate machine learning result and insights to a business-centric language with easy-to-understand visualization
Build analytics into your solutions and use that data to help improve the effectiveness of the solution
Partner with research labs at Adobe to drive new innovations
Mentor an impactful team and hire exceptional talent
Work with cross functional teams in multiple geographies
Guide internal and external customers in their AI Transformation
Represent Adobe and provide thought leadership in various conferences and meetups.
Have hands-on experience developing data science solutions, from concept to production, and selecting the right tool for the job at hand.
Be familiar with and be able work with popular ML frameworks.
Continually research and evaluate emerging technologies.
Be a critical thinker who is passionate about developing highly innovative breakthrough technologies and has the resilience to make innovation happen.
Be obsessed over delivering products that solves critical business needs and iterating with customers for early feedback.
Have experience interacting with enterprise customers
Have experience leading data science teams, provide technical leadership that can keep the team focused on priorities.
Communicate complex ideas clearly.
Ideally PhD/Masters in Computer Science or similar field
