ADP is hiring a Senior Tax Analyst.

In this role, you will serve as ADP’s front-line for solving clients’ challenges, including issue resolution, answering questions, helping clients, and more. You carry the weight of ADP’s service reputation and client satisfaction in your hands. You will handle day to day interaction with various teams to support technical business requirements. Work to support the business needs, being self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive internal projects to completion
  • Knowledgeable of product roll outs, as well as existing offerings. Remain informed and knowledgeable of current tax developments and effectively applies tax knowledge to client’s needs and projects
  • Liaise with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to ensure upstream and downstream consistency.
  • Collaborating with Data Operations Developers to resolve and create enhancements to current tools
  • Responsible for continuous improvement in the efficiency of data gathering

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN A TYPICAL DAY:

  • Client Support. You will help our clients manage their business using our solutions, which could include troubleshooting and probing to resolve issues. Support might also involve partnering with multiple business units and teams for troubleshooting and delivering a seamless client experience.
  • Reporting and Analysis. You will work on complex projects, including calculation updates, special reports, tax amendments, company set up, troubleshooting, and more. You will research historical data, determine adjustments, and use online tools to make corrections.
  • Collaborate and Communicate. You will collaborate with internal and possibly third-party vendors to identify and resolve issues and ensure that these services meet client expectations. You will escalate issues when necessary and communicate status and resolution to the client. You will also share upcoming changes with your clients that could impact them and address their concerns. You will create standard client documentation and update it regularly.
  • Learn. You will continually upgrade your knowledge and skills on payroll, including federal and state compliance, standard operating procedures, administrative practices, other products, and desktop support tools to develop and maintain your ability to support our clients.
  • Organize. You adhere to a daily schedule and organize yourself to deal with a high volume of requests.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

  • At least 3 years of analytical experience in a customer service environment or corporate tax, finance, accounting and/or tax credit incentive experience
  • Experience with Payroll/Payroll Processing
  • Superior time and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects keeping current on new and proposed regulations.
  • Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences providing expertise and guidance as needed.

  • Job Scheduling- Microsoft SQL Server Agent, Atomic (UC4)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to maximize client needs.
  • Comprehension of corporate business structures/operations and Tax/Financial concepts.
  • Ability to prioritize projects with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently.
  • Proven collaboration and mentoring skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software tools (with basic experience in MS Access) and Internet navigation

The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
