The role you’ll contribute: Business Analyst
The Business Analyst provides strategic business technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to provide timely information to executives and leadership (other corporate departments and facilities) for AdventHealth Home Health. This position is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end to end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks. This role will lead the analysis of business processes and make recommendations to decision-makers regarding opportunities that support strategic goals.

- Lead process improvement initiatives through disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis, and discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices
- Develop project scoping, project planning and status reporting deliverables for leadership and proactively monitor the forward movement of projects
- Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements
- Determine current performance, forecast future performance, and build and manage project plans to track and prioritize action items
- Routine (Monthly/Quarterly/Annually)
- Identify and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Provide support as required to ensure the availability and optimal performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including (Excel PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, etc.)
- Able to rapidly learn and become proficient in selected automation and BI tools
- Experienced in the use of at least one of the following:
- Advanced Skills in writing VBA
- BI applications (E.g., Microsoft Power BI) to develop dashboards and reports to support business decision-making
- Bachelor’s in business administration or related discipline (i.e., Management, Accounting, Finance or Healthcare)
- Two years of previous experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency with statistics and statistical analysis for decision making
- Financial reporting and analysis Healthcare & Home Health related
- Proficient understanding of process design with the capability to map processes, activities, decisions, and process interdependencies
- Experienced in the development and management of meaningful business metrics
- Experienced in the application of a Project Management methodology
- Power Automate (desktop/cloud) or similar Low Code/No Code solution
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Bi, Power Query, Power Apps)
- Business Intelligence Software (HCHB, Qlikview, HPM, PeopleSoft, OBIEE, Axiom, Athenahealth, SAP, Tableau etc.)
- Excel VBA
