Join our highly-skilled Marketing Data Science team
Our team is part of the Marketing organization, responsible for developing viable solutions to optimize Akamais end-to-end Marketing engine. We leverage predictive analytics and statistical learning techniques that enables the masses to derive insights, make data-driven decisions, and ultimately improve financial outcomes through analytics.
Partner with the best
The primary focus for this role is to mine Akamais CRM databases and discover insights around Customer Lifetime Value and Product Analytics that can be converted into actionable decisions for our internal stakeholders. In this role youll be responsible for the end-to-end data science lifecycle; and ultimately helping business leaders improve decision making for driving Akamais Go-to-Market strategy.
As a Data Scientist Senior, you will be responsible for:
- Discovering insights around Customer Lifetime Value, Product Utilization, Addressable Market size, Churn and Retention Analysis.
- Ideating new models based on business requirements and operationalizing them in a production environment.
- Connecting disparate data sources inside and outside Akamai to test various business hypotheses.
- Handling adhoc and unscheduled data science support requests from Sales and Marketing to clarify and further business insight.
- Taking the initiative to keep up with developments in the field of data science and to learn on the job.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5 years work experience or Masters with 3 years work experience
- Have 3+ years of hands-on experience with manipulating and cleaning data and conducting statistical analyses.
- Have 3+ years of experience with Regression modelling, Survival Analysis, Mathematical Programming, Time Series Analysis, Probabilistic modelling, and unsupervised clustering techniques
- Have 5+ years developing and implementing predictive models using Statistical or Machine Learning with R or Python
- Have 3+ years experience with querying data from SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Hive)
- Have 3+ years of experience and success in working with cross-functional teams (especially IT, Sales, Services, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Support).
