Job Purpose
The T&E Financial analyst is a key enabler for the management of our Global Travel Program. The travel team in Pune supports all travelers globally on Travel related queries. The analyst support answering these questions by providing data but also by running monthly reporting cycles on T&E spend. The monthly and ad-hoc reporting support in-depth analysis of our global spend >80M EUR. Through the analysis provided senior management in the company is able to make conscious data driven decisions about travel behavior in various functions and regions.
Key Accountabilities
Within this role your key responsibility is to ensure the T&E team as a whole delivers on set strategy and targets set by the Team lead. As part in this role you are responsible to execute the following tasks (not limited to): 1. Monthly reporting cycles on personal travel budgets 2. Monthly reporting cycles on Concur, HFM, Finance data 3. Ad-hoc data analysis of various finance related data sources, data-merging and slicing. 4. Answering questions from travelers and business leaders about reporting, issues and queries. 5. Maintenance of online booking tools, travel profiles, user settings 6. Support of credit card management process, questions from travelers and analysis on credit card spend data 7. Creation of Travel HFM Finance dashboards and distribute to leadership 8. Maintenance of the global travel portal, updating SharePoint, collecting qualitative content on travel topics and presenting them towards travelers as comms material through the portal. 9. Research benchmark figures, research articles on price developments, 10. Hotel database analysis 11. Supporting tenders, data-collection to drive RFP process
Experience
4 to 5-year work experience as business analyst in travel domain, in a global or multinational environment 2. Ability to work with a cross regional, multicultural and virtual team 3. Extensive number literacy and financial acumen 4. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills 5. Ability to communicate with and present effectively and remotely to various stakeholders with limited financial or analytical knowledge 6. Ability to influence and convince direct stakeholder through analysis 7. Understanding of Finance, Human Resources and Information Management functions 8. Cognitive ability to understand concepts, the logic behind goals that are set and the ability to execute against that purpose. 9. Preferably familiar with finance concepts and reporting structures, HFM, SAP R/3, Concur, SAP SuccessFactors
