Job Location: Hyderabad/Secunderabad
The Senior Business Analyst / Scrum Master will also be responsible for setting the team up for success by adopting, implementing, and conducting Agile practices. The Senior Business Systems Analyst / Scrum Master will facilitate Scrum / Kanban teams processes and deliverables and communicate with stakeholders, escalate issues, remove impediments, and help manage risk.
In this role, you will
- Facilitating the scrum process on scrum teams with cross-functional impacts that involve complex project, non-project, platform transformation, modernization, or maintenance work.
- Guiding the scrum team(s) and organization to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.
- Using empirical data to help the team(s) assess their Scrum Maturity, optimize scrum team velocity to organizational KPIs, and identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance.
- Partnering with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include stories from multiple projects.
- Facilitating and accountable for owning the Scrum Agile ceremonies for the scrum team(s).
- Partnering with Product owners, Program or Project Managers to communicate delivery of work product from the scrum team and escalates key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness.
- Performs requirements analysis and develops user stories to support the Agile team.
- Create Jira tickets and manages development and sustainment tasks in Jira.
- Provides customer support and end-user support as required.
- Applies business process review to support the coordination of activities between and amongst functional units supporting one to more functional lines of business.
- Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization; contribute to acceptance/functional testing duties.
- Participate in agile incremental delivery approach which supports incremental development and releases every sprint cycle.
- Assist development/test teams in activities with test script development and acceptance testing.
- Communicates with the development team and stakeholders to successfully address requirements.
- Refines requirements with business process owners and documents requirements into actionable tasks and stories by developers in Jira.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Solid understanding of agile development principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to design solutions for multiple product requirements.
Must Have:
- Ability to act in a scrum master role and communicate well within cross-functional teams and to be the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 6+ years information technology experience in a growth environment
- Experience with Jira and/or other application lifecycle management tool
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
