Roles & Responsibilities
1. Innovate new product ideas for increasing the companys product line, in the chosen areas of
business
2. Collaborate with internal and external clients to identify and innovate new areas of functional
enhancements in existing products
3. Ensure updation of the requirement log/inventory for each of the software products
4. Extensively liaise with Development & Quality Assurance Teams as a vital member of the
Software Development Life Cycle with intense participation in sprint planning & sprint
review meetings
5. Prepare and/or review specifications and user stories for handing over to the Development
Team
6. Assist the Quality Assurance Team in selection of appropriate test cases for functional, unit,
performance, security, and scalability testing
7. Ensure readiness of all product documentation including User Manual, Technical Literature,
Best Practices Guide, and other client-specific documents
8. Provide product knowledge transfer to the Marketing Team during product collateral design
9. Perform duties as a Product Owner and Functional Expert for internal and external clients
10. Undertake role of Product Trainer for internal teams
11. Supervise members of the Product Innovation Team and aid in clearing hurdles and
challenging situations
12. Initiate and lead Best Practices Audit and improvements at client-site for optimum usage of
products
13. Extend administrative and management support to the Project Manager and/or Department
Head in ensuring excellent performance of the team
14. Any other roles and responsibilities as may be suggested by Department Head
Qualification / Skill-sets
o B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. / MCA / MBA or other Technical Graduates / Post-Graduates with
reasonable understanding of software solutions and their design
o Minimum 3+ years of experience in Business Analyst / Product Design profile
o Pleasing personality and excellent oral and written communication skills are pre-requisite
o Strong visualization and analytical skills is a pre-requisite with visible ability to articulate
ideas, concepts, and viewpoints
o Sound understanding of Product Life Cycle, from conceptualization to commercialization,
along with best design practices
o Keen desire to research and learn emerging design ideas and techniques and ability to
incorporate these meaningfully in the scheme of things for our products
Added Advantage Qualification / Skill-sets
o Prior experience of 1 – 2 years in a senior role / job profile for Business Analyst OR Product
Design OR Software Development for Software solutions
o Basic knowledge of programming, database, and software testing would be advantageous
o Enthusiasm for travel and meeting clients coupled with problem-solving capability with
lateral thinking ability as part of a team, or individually
