In the Transformation Department, Methods & Tools is working closely with all Functions (transformation programs, function methods and tools…) and Regions to:
- Coordinate transformation programs by challenging dependencies and interfaces among programs, end to end process vision and global transformation capacity management.
- Orchestrate the Configuration and Change Management process across all functions
- Support all transformations to accelerate and secure adoption by adapting to maturity level, by sharing and developing best practices and by enforcing solution adoption KPIs
- Manage data governance (including MDM) to maximize the usage of data to take decisions efficiently
- Manage and enforce content management best practices across the organization
Within Methods & Tools, Data management department mission is to get the most from our data assets to reach better decisions:
Ensure that data is consistent leveraging the right governance
- Enforce data management process (data architecture, data owner, data quality, data access & protection.)
- Enforce collaboration across the organisation on data cross fertilization
- Collect data management best practice and complete benchmarks
- Collaborate to data technology roadmap
Ensure we leverage data across the organisation by developing data literacy and promoting existing data solutions
- Manage data literacy program in particular on Alstom sites (available data within Alstom, algorithm culture, data to actions…)
- Promote data cross fertilization across the organisation
- Promote internal data marketplace including data lake usage
- Manage directly some operations on data management
- Deliver data quality score card
- Manage MDM factory
- Will be in charge to ensure consistency of Master Data in compliance with Finance and Sourcing core processes.
- Maintain up-to-date data governance documentations and support standard operating procedures.
- Update the tool to be used to Manage MDM tasks assigned (example: JIRA SICOS).
- Support & Train Key users from all over the world.
- Analyse consistency of big volume of data, define business rules and perform cleansing actions.
- Provide KPI’s on master data quality and SLA. Update a daily status of actions plan (as required).
- Be proactive and give new proposals to automatize checks, anticipate, solve regular issues.
- Identify improvement opportunities, define and implement new processes.
- Participate in MDM projects and new tool implementation (based on Tibco EBX).
Analyse & validate master data during rollouts. Raise incidents tickets and work closely with other IT operations teams to resolve MDM issues.
Responsible to ensure consistency of Master data in compliance with core business rules.
Mandatory:
At least 2 years’ experience in data management/MDM processes & tools.
Experience in SAP is must.
Graduated from engineering, technology or related field
Desirable:
- SAP Transactions
- Tibco EBX
- Knowledgeable of Finance & Sourcing task
Competencies & Skills
- Be fluent in English
- Good office software skills (e.g., Excel, Access, Visio, PPT)
- ERP usage.
- Ability to challenge status quo & improve ways of working, Result driven, Ability to work independently
