Roles & Responsibilities :

– The IT Sr. Product Analyst is a key position in the discovery and delivery of technology solutions for business. This position is responsible for the requirements gathering and analysis , design and configuration as well as integration touch points to other processes and systems.

– This position would interface regularly with business stakeholders, development teams, and third parties to ensure that business requirements are met through proper system design and configuration. Involves active, hands-on participation in diverse, regional and global IT project teams to implement IT projects. This is a demanding role that involves managing multiple projects, juggling multiple priorities and interfacing at all levels of the organization.

– The IT Sr. Product Analyst anticipates business needs and proactively provides strategically aligned alternatives. The position requires significant interaction with leaders in the company, strategic and business aptitude, analytical skills, and ability to effectively communicate and facilitate decisions. Will need to have some flexibility to work outside the standard 8 AM – 5 PM working hours to facilitate and drive the project completion with our US, EU and Asia stakeholders.

– In addition to the core SAP FICO and Tax, Data & Analytics experience and Cloud experience would be a big plus.

– This position would interface regularly with business stakeholders, development teams, and third parties to ensure that business requirements are met through proper system design and configuration.

– This position reports to the IT Product Team Manager and supports other Product Team Analysts.

High Level Summary Of Key Tasks Includes :

– Gathers business requirements and identifies gaps through analysis of all the information available

– Helps develop business cases, considering financial, resource, and technological constraints; develops cost estimates with consideration for business impacts and risks.

– Maintains relationship with business colleagues with excellent communication

– Leads solution design activities with client groups in a specific business area to document and finalize business requirements

– Works closely with business colleagues, to quickly understand new requirements or problems, then suggest a possible solution

– Design solutions that address business requirements and functionality gaps

– Documents solution design, conducts design reviews and obtains design sign-offs from the stakeholders

– Performs development and configuration activities as needed along with developing functional specifications for the technical teams

– Oversees and follows up on enhancements and small project implementation activities including development solution documents, functional designs. Works with technical developers to ensure business requirements are clear and development activities are on schedule

– Develops unit test cases and performs testing to ensure requirements are met for system modifications or data extracts.

– Consults with business colleagues on appropriate change management activities to achieve organizational readiness for the implementation of changes.

– Demonstrates leadership by coordinating the requirements, specifications, and user acceptance testing efforts.

– Participates in development of short and long term plans.

– Manages incident and problem management for assigned functional areas and client groups in support of on-going operations ensuring compliance with stage gate and internal controls.

– Manages monthly enhancement cycle process for development steps

Min. Qualifications :

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering IT Finance or related disciple with at least 7 years of experience implementing SAP solutions in a functional role.

– Knowledge of core SAP FICO modules and integration with Tax – General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Account Receivables

– Understanding of Indirect and Direct Tax

– Expert knowledge of SAP VAT Tax and eInvoicing, eDocuments SAP functionality

– SAP Configuration and functional development experience is a must

– Excellent understanding of integration points between SAP FICO, SAP SD and SAP MM modules

– Should have good understanding of integration technologies such as IDOCs ALE EDI , XML, web services.

– Understand available capabilities and services and work with supply to ensure cost efficiently and business needs are met

– 7-10 years of solutions and multiple domain experience with increasing levels of responsibility in systems analysis, defining technical requirements, and performing high level design for complex solutions

– 7-10 years of work experience in roles with a high level of client or end-user engagement with experience in both support and formal or informal leadership

– Good communication skills, both verbal and written

– Goal driven; action oriented

– When needed, can say “no” by offering meaningful alternatives

– Understand the drivers of organizational change and interdependencies among all moving parts

– Value oriented, understands technology is a tool with overriding goal of business success

– Partners closely with business stakeholders to analyze new projects and readiness for governance decisions and provides transparency of portfolio investments.

– More than an “order taker” they are demand shapers – stimulating, surfacing and shaping business demand.

– Well-grounded in Service Management – represent IT to the business.

– Communicate and defend IT policies and standards, and understand how IT services benefit the business.

– Coordinateact as a broker of services and suppliers, including Enterprise Architecture, Solution Delivery, Service Management, etc.

Preferred Qualifications :

– Experience with SAP S4 HANA FICO and ACR (Advanced Compliance Reporting) functionality

– Experience with SAP GTS Intrastat functionality

– Knowledge of India GST Tax and China Golden Tax functionality

– Knowledge of non-SAP Tax applications such as Vertex and Avalara

– Experience in the Petrochemical Industry with strong business acumen
