We are seeking a results-oriented individual to manage our order management business operations, reports, metrics, and work with key internal stakeholders across different Organizations. This role will fall under the supply chain organization for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Power & Cooling team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and a creative critical thinker with an intense curiosity and learning drive. You must be an effective negotiator, leader, and communicator, able work independently and generate high-quality work against aggressive deadlines in a collaborative, ever-changing and ambiguous environment. You must be able to communicate appropriately and effectively with people at every level.
As a member of the Power & Cooling team, you will manage order management activities for power and cooling equipment supporting AWS data center build projects. You will be responsible and accountable for accurate and timely purchase request entries to make sure that the right equipment arrives at the right place at the right time. You will work with our internal customers and business partners to identify accurate information related to purchase request entries and timing requirements as well as remove any blockers from progressing the procurement process to the next stage.
Responsibilities:
- Manage internal stakeholder communication and provide status updates on projects and deliverables.
- Manage Capital Acquisition Request lifecycle to secure project funding in a timely manner.
- Manage Purchase Order / Purchase Requisition lifecycle
- Manage, report and troubleshoot supplier Invoices on Hold.
- Design and implement reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions in our procurement processes.
- Monitor existing metrics as well as develop and propose new metrics to provide actionable data to critical business stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of projects and initiatives.
