Understand the business needs of the customer and assess the impact of those needs in order to communicate and implement the recommended efficient solutions.
What will your job look like?
- Perform requirements gathering and analysis in order to provide high quality and detailed requirements, ensuring the closest involvement with, and agreement from, the user community
- Produce and review data/information models and preliminary system architecture, as needed
- Create prototypes and simulations to provide an accurate, graphical user interface representation, thereby facilitating successful solution design and development
- Evaluate and communicate strategy to technical team and business
- Resolve conflicting end-user requirements
- Collaborate closely with the product manager to understand the product roadmap, features and changes in product requirements.
- Translate the roadmap into manageable product backlog and detail the processes while collaborating with product management, development, delivery, customers, etc. This entails prioritizing the backlog and support the release planning and sprint planning exercises.
- Work with R&D to provide and refine estimations for projects, features, and processes.
- Support Focus Teams during sprints.
- Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
- Developing user stories
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
- Review, approve and design all product improvement suggestions raised by Delivery, customers, Support and R&D.
- Collaborate with Global IT Solutions functional groups by adhering to established processes to ensure that business requirements are delivered through successful project implementation of optimal, cost-effective solutions
- Collaborate with developers to ensure adherence to business requirements and Reporting/BI/Analytical design
- Identify initial Business Case requirements & other pre-project activities (e.g., high-level requirements, project scope, and objectives)
All you need is…
- Strong technical and business writing skills
- Strong technical of DWH concepts and SQL
- Strong knowledge of ETL and reporting tools e.g. Informatica, PowerBI and SSIS
- Strong knowledge of best practices for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and business concepts to technical audiences
- An understanding of current requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, and verification, and the ability to apply them in practice
- Ability to guide the user in identifying business requirements
