The Data Architecture Manager leads the design, development and implementation of enterprise wide data architectures, including a centralized data platform. The Manager coordinates activities related to defining and implementing standards, processes, procedures, models and technologies used for collecting, organizing, storing and accessing company information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designs, implements and maintains centralized data platform.
• Ensures data consistency and integrity; reviews and validates data loaded into the data platform for accuracy.
• Completes and maintains data mappings.
• Develops new and maintains existing data models.
• Creates processes for obtaining, normalizing and cleansing data.
• Leads activities around data profiling, data analysis, business rules and cleansing rules.
• Provides technical consulting to users of the various databases and advises users on conflicts and inappropriate data usage.
• Prototypes data warehouse solutions, prepares test scripts, and conducts tests.
• Leads a diverse team of employees with responsibility for managing the employee life cycle and experience, including but not limited to, selection and retention of talent, continuous feedback and performance management, reward and recognition, corrective action and employee development.
• Maintains knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the enterprise databases and data platform environment.
• Performs other related work as assigned.

Direct Reports: 5-8 of Data Architects & Modelers

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Information Management or related field of study; plus six (6) years of progressively responsible related experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience working with Informatica, ETL processes and frameworks desired.
• MS SQL and Snowflake EDW experience required.
• Experience with and advanced knowledge of data management policies, procedures and practices including data warehouse, data lake and data mart concepts.
• Experience with and working knowledge of Rational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools.
• Experience working with private and sensitive information required.
• Experience working with data reporting tools desired.
