Job Location: Albuquerque, NM
WANTED: A highly motivated Engineering Data Analyst with demonstrated experience to perform system-engineering functions as well raw data analysis/collection on several projects to support a Department of Defense program. You will join a team of highly driven, supportive, and skilled professionals engaged in supporting innovations to system engineering practices across this DoD program.
As a Engineering Data Analyst, you will:
- Provide support to the Air Force Research Laboratory in the testing of emerging Directed Energy weapon technology for national defense
- Support a National Priority Program

A week in the life of a Engineering Data Analyst:
- Analyze user needs and develop solutions and alternative courses of actions; applying principles and techniques of systems engineering.
- Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation.
- Participate in defining requirements, use case development and supporting documentation; identify integration activities for developmental counter unmanned aerial vehicle directed energy projects.
- Support daily stand-up meetings and customer tag-ups.
- Analyze architectural and functional requirements, specifications, and interfaces.
- Work with Cyber-security staff to ensure that systems under development or modification conforms to applicable Information Assurance (IA) and Mission Assurance (MA) standards.
- Support the planning and execution of system integration and test activities to support program milestones.
- Perform risk assessments and generate risk mitigation plans and strategies using DoD Risk Management methodology and procedures to identify, evaluate, and mitigate Mission Assurance risks to airborne platforms and technologically advanced systems.
- Ensures requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods.

Job Requirements
- Bachelors in Engineering related field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering) with 5-7 years of experience required.
- Knowledge of Python Software.
- Skilled in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Support for GS-15/O-6 and above level.
