Primary Role

The Business Analyst assists with the development, documentation, testing, training, and implementation of the company’s strategic and new operational projects. The Analyst maintains the relationship between the functional business teams and the technical teams for the formation, planning and execution. The position will be responsible for ensuring new initiatives and strategies are implemented timely, efficiently, and effectivelyKey Accountabilities

Strategy and Growth Support

  • Lead and coordinate with other teams to create business documents (requirements, flows, risk mitigation, etc) that produce better business outcomes
  • Draft use and test cases for user acceptance testing
  • Review and analysis of all functional and technical design documents
  • Analysis of Requirements, Process, Impacts and plan for mitigations

Operational Excellence

  • Provide Process improvement recommendations to management through analysis and meeting with functional areas
  • Develop and maintain functional business flows and templatesKnowledge/Skills

  • HOS production systems: Oracle, Integrated Agent Desktop, MS Dynamics, Claims Management SystemExperience/Education

Required:

  • Associates degree in Business, Technology or related program or equivalent experience

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology or related program or equivalent experience

Required:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in identification and implementation of process improvements
  • Data analysis, problem identification and resolution
  • Collaboration with technical and functional departments

Preferred:
3-5 years’ experience in home warranty operationsTravel Requirements

  • 0 – 20%. The incumbent may be required to travel. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.Work Environment
