Job Location: Gurgaon
We are seeking a Business Analyst for our group to work across the enterprise to understand the data, reporting and analytics needs of our business. Position will balance BAU activity related to field leader and recruiter compensation administration with broad program/cross-team process re-engineering and data mining support. The person will be responsible for managing multiple process improvement projects and focus on reporting requirement related to business performance. Strong collaboration skills are required to manage day to day activities within the team and build and manage partner relationships, utilize key Business Intelligence platforms and tools, provide data quality management and KPIs.
Responsibilities
Provide support to compensation program administration and reporting, that includes report structuring, including data gathering\data mining, timely & accurate execution of reports, including ad-hoc analysis.
Ensuring all quality standards and techniques are followed, including compiling and publishing artifacts and deliverables of the Ameriprise Project Management Methodology.
Manage/Improve controls and validations of assigned activities.
Explore opportunities to drive efficiency in operations by automating reports/processes, simplification/elimination of redundant activities.
Applies analytical skills to understand the data & provide the required information to leadership.
Interact with business partners to analyze and interpret business needs.
Design infrastructure to support new processes or programs. Create and maintain process documentation including data definitions and sources.
Document process, data definitions, data sources and assists with testing/trouble-shooting.
System/data support for loan and payment on-boarding and scheduling of systematized processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related field 2+ years of experience in reporting, analytics and automation in VBA
Strong Knowledge & Experience of working on MS Excel/ VBA and basic SQL.
Strong communication; ability to clearly articulate complex concepts verbally and in writing.
Strong attention to detail; ability to independently manage and deliver timely and accurate results with competing deadlines
Strong project management experience to track progress for each project and complete them as per defined timelines
Collaborative team and client centric approach with a high degree of personal accountability.
Experience with intercontinental organizational structures (i.e. leaders/business partners in multiple geographies)
Ability to consistently meet established deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
MS Access experience and Data Lake knowledge would be preferred
Visio – process mapping skills is plus
