Job Location: Gurgaon
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for our group to work across the Database Management function to understand the business, reporting and databases for FRCO and FLCO teams. This role will be primarily focused on supporting database management and would also include the opportunities to drive efficiency in operations by identifying and automating reports/ processes. The role will need strong collaboration between India and US teams.
Responsibilities
Maintaining & enhancing the scalability and performance of existing MS Access databases.
Work with different stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications that can be used to design & develop database structure.
End to End Project management for new reporting design and/or development
Managing the change control and traceability processes for requirements.
Explore opportunities to drive efficiency in operations by automating reports/ processes, simplification/ elimination of redundant activities
Manage/ Improve controls and validations of assigned activities.
Applies analytical skills to understand the data & provide the required information to leadership.
Explore and suggest appropriate technology solution to meet business needs.
Document process, data definitions, data sources and assists with testing.
Provide timely updates and project status to senior management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science, information technology
5-10 years of experience developing and maintaining databases in MS Access
Extensive expertise in MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, VBA in MS Access.
Strong communication; ability to clearly articulate complex concepts verbally and in writing
Ability to independently manage and deliver timely and accurate results with competing deadlines
Collaborative team and client centric approach with a high degree of personal accountability
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of BI tools (such as Power BI\ Quick Sight), Python will be plus
Experience in Cloud computing & Knowledge of data lake concepts including Athena will be plus
