What you will be doing

This is a US Based virtual role.
This role will be an integral part of the Commercial Analytics team within Health Systems and Specialty Services. This position will be responsible for understanding the financial levers that impact the HS&SS business units and will leverage data and analytics to advise senior leaders.
- The incumbent is responsible for developing reporting, develop analytic solutions, and deliver actionable insights
- Support operational and financial decision making via business intelligence processes
- Serves as a key resource for interpreting financial data and information; communicates results to team members
- Ensures reporting needs across process areas are prioritized to support deployment strategies and business needs
- Works closely with enterprise Finance Department to ensure consistent application of policies and processes
- Proactively develop new management reporting tools and financial models to support initiatives such as development of profitability, cost, and gross margin analysis models
- Recommend and implement enhancements to methodologies and procedures to improve financial analysis and literacy among team members
- Lead financial opportunity analyses for proposed projects as applicable.

What your background should look like
- Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, finance, Accounting, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program
- MBA preferred
- Normally requires a minimum of six 6-8 years directly related and progressively responsible experience applying advanced financial analysis techniques to business problems
- Experience with pharmaceutical, supply chain, and/or healthcare financial data is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of business metrics/drivers in a complex environment
- Ability to deliver results under pressure
- Ability to set priorities while conducting analysis to arrive at an actionable solution
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
