Functional Description:
The CDSS ICS External Data Science team is responsible for Consumer Data Science and Model Application. The team works in close collaboration with the CDSS modeling team, Market risk teams, technology teams as well as compliance.
Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will lead a team of 2-3 Assistant managers / Business analysts
- Monitoring of model performance of ICS CDSS models – key focus on automation, increased process efficiencies and compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Developing and leading data science focused on external data sources like but not limited to Credit bureaus, asset data and neighborhood data
- Coordinating closely with model development and CFRC teams
- Ensuring all deliverables conform to MRMG, compliance and fair lending standards
- MBA, Master’s Degree In Economics, Statistics Or Related Fields From A Reputed Institute
- 3.5 year+ experience in analytics with strong focus on modeling solutions. Deep knowledge of Amex platforms is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to provide insight and accurate judgment in addressing and resolving business challenges and opportunities Expertise in big data and machine learning algorithms. The candidate should have experience in development and implementation of machine learning algorithms such as GBM, KNN etc.
- Proven track record of successfully collaborating with multiple partners to design and implement solutions
