As part of Credit and Fraud Risk team, we drive profitable business growth by using and developing an array of tools and ever-evolving technologies to detect and combat fraud, extend credit and loans, and provide world-class customer experiences. This exciting position is within the Product team will help to build and maintain our in-house tools and platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy logic on proprietary platforms using Big Data tools, including but not limited to Hive, SQL, Spark, ETL.
- Perform unit and end-to-end testing.
- Evaluate and developing tools, common components, and capabilities.
- Develop and deploy new data sources, data derivations, and business intelligence.
- Develop business logic, intent and long-term objectives to align priorities and develop solutions.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate innovative technologies
- Provides continuous support for ongoing application availability
- Participate and contribute in scrum demo, grooming, and retrospectives
- Define and perform data quality controls for batch and real-time data and partner with tech teams in designing and building these controls.
- Analyze large volumes of data to effectively verify needs of new build and address arising anomalies in existing variables
Qualification
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science or a related field
- 1-3 years relevant experience preferred
- Understanding of product development
- Experience with using data querying and scripting languages to analyze large data sets (Hive, SQL)
- Understanding of data/ETL concepts
