The Global Customer Listening team within American Express GSG (Global Servicing Group) is looking for a skilled professional, experienced in mining data for patterns and early warnings, and the ability to translate analyses into insights that can help improve Customer Experience.

The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users.

Responsibilities

Work on projects in the field of Customer Experience analytics by leveraging the Big Data environment (for data, tools, techniques) and work closely with stakeholders/ functional teams for continuous delivery of actionable insights

Be responsible for identifying key drivers that drive customer satisfaction and turn these insights into improvement opportunities for Business partners, thereby contribute to the organization’s key priority around Customer First

Apply proven analytics techniques to draw insights essential to driving improvement initiatives within the Customer Experience domain

Regularly engage with business teams to understand their needs and operationalize a framework for translating insights into actions to drive Customer Experience

Link analytics and insights to ongoing strategic initiatives

Contribute towards adoption and application of cutting edge techniques and software paradigms (available internally and externally) by continuously learning, researching and experimenting

Understand the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with data

Compile and analyze data related to business’ issues

Develop clear visualizations to convey complicated data in a straightforward fashion.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics or equivalent

4-5 years’ Data Analysis experience

Proficient with common Machine Learning Algorithms and hands on experience applying techniques across Classification and Regression problems

Strong SQL, Python and Tableau skills

Data ETL and Big Data experience preferred.

SHIFTS: 12PM-9PM IST
