What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. The CDnA – Insights Sr. Associate is responsible for delivering analytics and insights to support products within the oncology portfolio. This includes carrying out secondary data analytics for reporting/tracking, supporting quarterly business reviews, brand planning analytics, and ad-hoc analysis.

The individual in this role must be comfortable synthesizing data from multiple sources into a coordinated picture to understand brand performance and drive brand strategy. They must be a hardworking champion of insights-driven strategy and objective evidence-based decision making. The individual must develop a deep understanding of the commercial landscape to help key partners make data driven decisions.


Job Responsibilities include:

  • Work cross functionally with marketing, sales, finance, the broader Commercial Data & Analytics team, and other collaborators to synthesize findings from several data sources and develop useful insights that drive commercial strategy and tactical implementation for products within the oncology portfolio

  • Develop secondary data analytics to support key financial activities, including Quarterly Business Reviews and Forecasts by providing objective, data-driven insights

  • Provide senior leadership with an objective and detailed perspective on secondary data analytics and performance management

  • Develop and deliver analyses using complex data sources including account-level demand data, claims data, electronic medical records data, etc. to generate a well-rounded, objective, and detailed understanding of brand business and to provide concrete insights

  • Manage relationships with external vendors to prioritize business needs and enable effective implementation of analytics

  • Improve the capabilities of the team by researching and implementing new analytical tools, methodologies, internal and external standard processes, new data sources, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree

Or

Bachelor’s degree & 2 years of relevant experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced spreadsheets, data visualization software (e.g., Tableau), and database languages (e.g., SQL)

  • Ability to think strategically to support key business decisions

  • Understanding of analytic methodologies, as well as marketing analytics in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment across different functional groups

  • Analytical skills—understands the strengths and limitations of different analytical approaches and their findings

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts and sensitive findings clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior management

  • Skill in balancing multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously

  • Working knowledge of commonly used biopharmaceutical industry datasets and database
