Business Process Analyst

Our office in Lincoln, RI is looking for a Business Process Analyst. With direction and guidance, this position is responsible for assisting in identifying business areas in need of improvement through the use of technology, people and/or equipment. The Business Process Analyst will assist in evaluating options and recommending solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in basic application design, development, testing and deployment activities. Prepare business requirements, use cases, and test cases.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on projects and processes with which they are familiar.
- Serve as a liaison between the business and technical personnel, including external vendors.
- Communicate with branch and CIS personnel frequently to ensure requirements are understood and met by the system design.
- Perform day-to-day support activities, including end user support.
- Work collaboratively on cross divisional teams, as well as with external vendors.
- Assist on other projects as assigned.
- May be called upon to handle other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 2 years related experience
- Knowledge of claims handling, policies, procedures, and systems preferred
- Understanding of applicable laws relating to claims handling preferred
- Good analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
