Job Description
Amrita’s International Institute for Health Innovations (II4HI), set up in partnership with Harvard University, is an interdisciplinary institute under Amrita Vishwa VIdhyapeetham University. The institute aims to develop cutting-edge health data management tools and technologies. Is looking for Data Engineers. Roles and Responsibilities It is an individual contributor role, and the potential candidate will have an opportunity to work on the following areas for the next three to four years.
Build, setup and maintain some data pipelines and help the creation of business intelligence datasets
Translate complex functional requirements into data design and analytics • Help build self-service tools for data analysis
Develop and maintain data warehouses and ETL processes.
Integrate data across businesses into data warehouse. Requirements
Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts
Familiarity with designing data pipelines using platforms such as Hadoop, Spark etc.
Experienced working as ETL developer in Data Engineering / Warehousing teams.
Good understanding of database technologies – SQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB etc.
Hands-on with the python programming language and its packages like Pandas, NumPy
Strong understanding of SQL queries, aggregate functions, Complex joins, and performance tuning
