Role Overview

As an Associate in the Analytics & Data Strategy practice, you will be tasked with harnessing the power of client data to tell a story that empowers business results. You will utilize your knowledge of databases and technology to help analyze and interpret data.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize knowledge of databases and programming languages to analyze and interpret data, to include historical financial, operational, and transactional data and identify potentially sensitive data content
  • Identify, research, and organize information to assess the appropriateness and sufficiency of data to facilitate effective analysis
  • Execute on projects involving the identification, collection, processing, review, and production of electronic data relevant to security and/or regulatory investigations
  • Create and prepare analyses, reports, presentations, quantitative exhibits, and other client deliverables regarding project scope and/or results of work performed
  • Participate in client meetings to review results of work performed
  • Responsible for day-to-day activities of a project including interaction with other team members, professionals from other firms involved in the engagement, and client personnel

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science, Business Analytics or another analytical area
  • 0-2 years of experience working in a consulting firm or similar environment
  • Database programming languages (SQL, PL/SQL) and other database applications (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL)
  • General knowledge of other programming and scripting languages (PHP, VBA, Python, and C#)
  • ETL software and data visualization tools (Pentaho Data Integration, Microsoft SSIS, Tableau
  • Travel as necessary for client & company meetings
