We are looking for a Java Full Stack Engineer to work in an agile and fast-paced environment interfacing with management, business and senior technology members. Understand business requirements, processes and specifications required to support implementation. Has recent and relevant experience for both Front-End and Back-End technologies with Java.
What will your day look like
Enables continuous delivery practices to increase delivery speed
Works in collaborative teams to build innovative solutions
Utilises tools and practices to build, verify and deploy solutions in the most efficient ways, enhancing tech division capabilities
Implements a culture within the Tribe and the Chapter, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation
Contributes to Engineering communities, meetups and conferences to promote technology development culture and practices
Provide ongoing support for platforms as required e.g. problem and incident management
Creates estimates and continuously reviews demand within the individual Squads/teams
May create, understand and monitor application metrics
About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
AWS (desired but not mandatory)
Essential skills
Knowledge of the enterprise technology space: languages, frameworks (Spring Boot) techniques, industry trends (hybrid and native)
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript and progressive design JavaScript (ReactJS, Angular, Node)
Deep knowledge of API (REST, SOAP), API Management and building scalable and high-performance Web APIs.
Relevant Experiences
Experienced in one or more roles previously e.g.: Front/Back end Engineer
Ability to triage and diagnose defects/issues.
Experienced working with operations and architecture groups developing scalable and supportable solutions (desired but not mandatory)
Knowledge of the FX business domain is desired but not mandatory.
Desired Skills
NoSQL DB experience, particularly Couchbase would be beneficial.
Docker/Kubernetes/Openshift experience is desirable.
Messaging technologies
Apache Kafka
Chronicle
Web sockets
Cloud technologies
Securing APIs and experience developing services that are identified by both consuming application and end-users and securing services across both constructs with OAuth, SAML, Two-Factor or Custom Authentication Scheme.
Linux OS and Bash Shell Scripting and Oracle DB
