About the role

As an Analyst, you will work within ANZ’s Institutional Division with the team responsible for build, maintenance and roll-out of loan IQ to newer geographies.
Your contribution to the team will include liaising with stakeholders related to system change requests, elicit requirements from Business/Operations users, designing solutions, performing functional testing and ensuring that the systems perform as expected by end users once code changes are implemented.
You may be working on requirements from geographies/countries where Loan IQ is to be rolled out as well as requirements from existing users of Loan IQ.
What will your day look like
- Partner with Business/Operations users or Product Owner to validate requirements and their priority and ensure alignment to value
- Partnering with the Product Owner, Engineers, Testers, Release Managers and other people in your squad to uncover dependencies and validate boundaries and sequencing of User Stories
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineers to translate business requirements into workable technology outcomes for the Squad
- Leverage tools for optimal collaboration (across geographies) and knowledge sharing
- Implement a culture within the Tribe and the Chapter, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation
- Create estimates and continuously review demands within the individual Squads
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions to perform more effective and efficient analysis
- Provide ongoing support for the platform as required e.g. problem / incident management
- Optimise workflow management to ensure traceability back to strategic alignment
- Perform product configurations, where required
- Perform functional testing to ensure that a specific configuration or build works as designed
- Liaise with stakeholders belonging to other applications systems for requirements that span across multiple applications
- Verify and validate what is in production (especially after changes)
- Analyse/simulate and determine if a functionality is working as desired or is there a bug that needs to be fixed – especially when issues are reported from Production users.
What will you bring?
Experience in one or more Analyst roles previously ,eg.: Process Analyst,System Analysis,Data Analysis
Proven analytical skills and evidence based decision making
Strong analytical skills – able to take information from disparate sources and formulate into a meaningful message
Strong communication skills,both written and oral, to communicate business analysis outcomes and to facilitate building of strong,open and collaborative working relationships
A desire to continuously learn new techniques/technologies and bring innovative ideas into the Squad
Desired Skills:
Understanding of Business and Technical landscape in terms of Loan IQ,Wholesale Lending,Payments,Data Extracts
Basic understanding of integrations between two systems
Exposure to Agile methodology – roles,ceremonies and deliverables
Exposure to tools for capturing requirements,viewing backlogs and dashboards e.g. JIRA/Confluence
Working knowledge of Loan Lifecycle from initial setting up of limits to loan repayment/maturity including non-performing loan processes
Understanding of different accounting entries associated with different loan life cycle events
