Responsibilities
Supplier Master Data Management
- Review and approve Supplier Data Create/Update requests to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of requests.
- Execute certain Supplier Master Data tasks within Profisee MDM or related solutions (Coupa, SAP, etc.) such as mass loads, deactivation, or data quality corrections.
- Enable business operations through efficient and effective support of the Supplier create and change processes.
- Work with business partners to ensure the proper processes are followed.
- Document and communicate Supplier Master Data expectations and formal processes.
Supplier Master Data Stewardship
- Partner with Data Owner(s) and Councils to define business rules, standards, and quality metrics to drive high quality Supplier data.
- Ensure data quality through stewardship of Supplier Master Data leveraging MDM and other reporting capabilities.
- Create and maintain data governance artifacts related to Supplier MD Domain to provide transparency, common understanding and appropriate fit-for-use definitions.
- Understand and adhere to the Data Governance Framework, Standards and Procedures
- Build partnerships with Business & IT Stakeholders to ensure that business rules are accurately defined, valid and enforced as required
Supplier Master Data System and Process Improvements
- Learn and build technical expertise in relevant technologies (Profisee, Coupa, SAP, future Data Catalog, etc.)
- Partner with IT to define and support Supplier data structures and usages in ERP or Analytical solutions
- Provide input and collaborate on improvements in process documentation and procedures.
- Collaborate with teams to execute business or IT projects that involve Supplier Master Data
- Identify opportunities for governance, system, or process improvements
Experience & Skills
Experience:
- Familiar with Supplier Master Data Processes and Solutions
- Demonstrated experience using strong communication skills to collaborate with business
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment yet independently productive
- Ability to influence in support of team objectives and goals
Required skills:
- Detail-oriented mindset – willing to dig into the data to understand root cause
- Persistent in resolving issues and follow through
- Provides timely and appropriate communication
