The official title of the role will be Business optimisation and improvement consultant. This shall be an internal consulting role requiring strong people influencing, best practices research and implementation across all verticals in the business and working across our Software development, HR, Sales, marketing, operations teams.

Reporting directly to the owner of the business, your role shall be to find improvement opportunities in the businesses, take ownership of the opportunities and take the improvement initiatives to completion including documenting requirements for our SaaS software solution, project managing the implementation and helping with the launch of the product in the market.

Roles and Responsibilities

Few Responsibilities include but not limited to are:

1. Continuous improvement, Process optimisation, documentation & compliance

  • Review internal processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Recommend, seek approval and implement improvement opportunities
  • Work across the business and teams to implement improvement initiatives
  • Track and timely complete the improvement initiatives
  • Report and ensure timely reporting on compliance across the functions
  • Track and report business / teams performance matrices / KPIs

2. Business Analysis Responsibility across verticals including but not limited to:

  • Create product launch documentation and take ownership of the launch roadmap
  • Understand and document Appetencys software & website capability
  • Project managing and conducting BA activities for Appetencys software & website
  • Capturing & documenting clients and internal HR processes and assisting with implementation in the product
  • Capturing, documenting and prioritising new requirement, errors
  • Suggest and document new improvements
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and capture test results
  • Prototyping the UX/UI and business process
  • Working with internal team for marketing promotions and providing ideas pertaining to sales/marketing
  • Writing and providing content to developers for websites, email marketing, social media
  • Review and revise business website, on-page, off-page content, blogs, email marketing content and templates
  • Ensure Appetencys products are fit for purpose and fit for use
  • Documenting requirements

3. Project Management Responsibility about tracking and maintain performances including but not limited to:

  • Manage multiple projects such as product development, API, SEO, website etc at the same time and having extensive PM capabilities to keep the projects and deliverables on time
  • Priortising requirements, planning weekly scrums and ensuring timely delivery
  • Ability to provide accurate time estimates for completion of the requirements and proven experience of timely delivery of the projects
  • Maintain backlog and sprint requirements
  • Ensure sprints velocities are properly tracked and executed as per plan
  • Ensure project plan is delivered to as per planned Enforce quality and timely delivery by APPETENCY team to ensure project success (overseeing but not actually coding for the delivery)
  • Work with the developers to ensure timely delivery of priority requirements

4. Leadership Responsibility

  • You must be someone who loves taking responsibility & demonstrated past experience of having done that
  • Lead and motivate team to achieve project plan
  • Helping with improving people engagement and productivity in the business
  • Identifying and working with the team to identify and implement initiative how to build a amazing culture, how to become the best place to work and how to showcase yourself as an employer of choice

5. Marketing, User journey mapping and conversion

  • Analysing website & other digital assets and marketing methods and mapping user engagement journey
  • Writing the content for digital assets (websites) and improving the accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of the digital assets and suggesting and getting improvements implemented for Increasing user journey and click through rate on the website
  • Creating best in the world BD proposals, templates, documentation, presentations, value proposition documentation, brochures, etc
  • Acquiring new business by capturing new leads, generating new prospects and generating opportunities
  • Unified reporting across Marketing initiatives to BD opportunities to revenue generated

6. Cultural Responsibilities

  • Promote a learning culture

  • Train team & take up certifications yourself

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Desire to work in a small team / start up environment to gain wide exposure
  • Desire to contribute to company
  • Strong time management skills and someone with discipline and structure
  • Very strong communication (both verbal and written) skills expectation setting, estimating & time management skills
  • Ability to do research, problem solve and follow industry standards
  • Business Analysis and Project management experience
  • Experience with BA and PM tools such as Confluence, Jira, MS Project, BitBucket, , etc
  • Proven BA, project management and/or consulting experience
  • Experience with Employer branding or Employer value proposition shall be highly regarded
