Job Description
We are looking for strong Data Scientists / Data Analyst, who will grow into problem solvers, using predictive modelling techniques and machine learning algorithms, to solve complex business problems in credit and risk domains, marketing analytics and provide business strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Gain experience in analyzing very large data sets
- Work closely with other business functions to develop key reporting projects
- Will track metrics and provide insights and business trends to stakeholders
- Do business driven analysis that translate data into actionable insights
And once gained mastery of business and data, work on
- Design analytical solutions for complex business problems.
- Dig deep into data, understand the characteristics, evaluate, and validate hypotheses through empirical approaches.
- Develop and implement predictive models for solving business problems and recommend actionable insights.
Qualifications
- 3 to 4 yrs experience as Data Scientist.
- Strong with programming languages like Python and data processing using SQL or equivalent.
- Strong with analytical and statistical packages like R, Python Scikit-Learn.
- For experienced candidates, exposure with the following machine learning algorithms is a plus: Gradient Boosting, Decision Trees, Logistic Regression, Random Forests, Deep Neural Networks, Ensemble methods.
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
