The Position
Are you in search of a paid, hybrid remote, summer internship where you have the ability to dive into pricing models, analyze portfolio data, and make presentations to customers and senior leaders? Job Responsibilities
The Analytics team provides analytic services across the Mortgage Group at Arch. This includes the development of complex statistical models, data visualization tools, reporting, as well as providing insights on the competitive environment for the USMI industry
- Developing code to manipulate data that will be used our BI tools
- Creating new or iterating on reports already existing in our BI tools focused on
- Actual Loan Performance
- Expected loan performance under different economic scenario
- Economic Data
- Identify insights from the reporting suites and share with the Analytics team.
The role will also involve supporting the Data Scientists and Housing Economists in the team with delivering insights from our various data sources.
Required Skills/Experience
Accounting, Finance, Economics, Managerial Sciences, Math or Statistics majors preferred. Working knowledge of one of more of these technologies: SAS, R, Python, SQL, Tableau or Power BI
Education
- Candidate pursuing a degree in data analytics, computer science, business analytics, data visualization, or similar degree required.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
The Company
Arch Mortgage Internship Program
- In your 10-week internship from June to August, expect to network with executives, participate in intern events and programs and become part of the Arch Mortgage team.
- This is a paid internship and will be a hybrid remote work arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) for the duration of the program.
- Arch MI also offers other internships based out of Greensboro, NC. They are posted through Campus Greensboro, campusgreensboro.org/apply and non-local candidates are eligible to apply.
