Your Responsibilities
The individual in this position will be engaged in a wide variety of tasks and have daily interactions directly with the Executive leadership along with a number of partner companies. The individual will support both operational activities as well as be heavily engaged in supporting the business development team in the pursuit and capture of new projects. The individual in this role will learn to conduct research on Federal government opportunities, develop and present briefings on their research to the Executive leadership, have an opportunity to attend and participate in industry networking events/presentations both virtually and in-person, and coordinate events and meetings with partner companies. There is also be work associated with driving proposal development and working with an internal graphic designer to create crisp graphics for proposals and business development efforts. This role will provide both exposure and experience across virtually all aspects of government contracting including business development, proposal development, and networking across the industry. This position requires direct interaction with employees and other organizations across all levels. Some of the responsibilities under this role include the following:
Your Expertise
The ideal candidate is flexible, comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment, and can work independently and collaboratively as the situation necessitates. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are needed to be successful in this role.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a position requiring extensive use of MS Office, organizational skills, and direct interaction with internal and external entities
- Solid experience using applications such as MS Office, MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.
- Must have excellent writing and oral communication/presentation skills
- Must be detailed oriented and able to multi-task
- Demonstrated experience in being proactive and being able to take the initiative when given broad guidance

Education
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
Other Requirements
- Work location is metropolitan D.C. area
- Ability to commute to various locations in and around the metropolitan D.C. area for participation in events, meetings, and other activities supporting growth opportunity needs. Such instances are limited during the current pandemic but are expected to return to normal in the near future.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident only (required by Federal client); background and credit check are necessary
