IT Big Data & Analytics (BDA) supplies the business domains with data, analytics and foundational services that enable their business analytics capabilities. The mission of this position is to extend and sustain the ASML enterprise / business process data foundation to enable business benefits and improvement that support our business growth and new requirements in business insight, business capabilities, and integration as well as technical data volume, data processing, and trusted data enablement.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.

  • 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Discuss with the analysis requestor for understand clearly the analysis required and the mode of delivery.
  • Access data from various data sources – SQL, ADX, etc.
  • Communicate the results both verbally and written.
  • Participate in presentations to learn various aspect of the operations.
  • Work with department technical lead on the analysis method and tools for specific projects.
  • Timely technical risk assessments
  • Actively participate in relevant Scrum and SAFe rituals and take part in continuous journey toward a more agile organization
  • Interns will typically be required to document and present their findings as well as making an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship

Education and experience

  • Studying towards a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics and Data Analytics, Operations Management and Analysis, or equivalent technical domain. At least 2 years of college education completed.
  • Required technical skills, knowledge and abilities
  • Familiar with data warehousing (design and operations) and database design concepts
  • Working knowledge of data science, data mining, database management and programming (SQL), business process modeling and analysis
  • Working knowledge of open source or commercial data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of statistical computing and graphics programming languages
  • Working knowledge of Cloud computing (ADX, Azure preferred)
