Job Summary
Lead complex analytics projects and initiatives leveraging sophisticated data, visualization, artificial intelligence, and statistical applications, including SQL, Python, R, SAS, Tableau, and Power BI. Lead development and enhancements of analytic solutions and statistical models which monitor and assess customer, competition, and market patterns and trends. Lead sales and marketing program test design and effectiveness analyses. Lead analytics required for sales and marketing goal setting. Develop and present actionable insights and recommendations to executive and mid-level leaders across the company. Develop and manage collaborative, consultative relationships with internal partners and key third-party consultants. Lead development and enhancements of data analytics team capabilities utilizing data, analytics, visualization, and marketing applications. Coach and mentor data analytics consultants.

Job Accountabilities

• Lead complex analytics projects and initiatives leveraging sophisticated data, visualization, artificial intelligence, and statistical applications and techniques across a broad range of subject areas including sales, marketing, product, customer, and digital and non-digital channels.
• Lead development and enhancements of analytic solutions and statistical models which monitor and assess customer, competition, and market patterns and trends. Utilize insights to inform planning, forecasting, analyses, and strategic decision-making. Leverage both internal and external data, including competitive intelligence, third-party data, and market research.
• Lead sales and marketing performance and effectiveness analyses. Lead design of test and measurement plans for multi-channel sales and marketing programs. Advocate for test and learn approach with an emphasis on financial performance. Lead regular communication of results, insights, and recommendations. Assist with sales and marketing strategy development.
• Lead analytics required for sales and marketing goal setting. Help facilitate goal-setting processes in partnership with sales and marketing leadership. Identify and implement performance benchmarks informed by competitive data and third-party applications.
• Develop and present actionable insights and recommendations in non-technical terms to executive and mid-level leaders across the company.
• Develop and manage collaborative, consultative relationships with internal partners and key third-party consultants.
• Lead development and enhancements of data analytics team capabilities utilizing data, analytics, visualization, and marketing applications.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and training to members of the data analytics team.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Economics, Marketing, Business, Finance, or related degree Required
• Master’s Degree Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Economics, Marketing, Business, Finance, or related degree Preferred

Experience

• 6-8 years Experience in data analytics, data science, database marketing, market research, or related roles Required
• Less than 2 years Managing direct reports Preferred
