The Role
Atlas Copco is the largest Air Compressor manufacturer in the world with its compressors being used in industries ranging from hospitals to offshore oil drills. The Data Domain is responsible for establishing, consolidating, and unifying data and analytics services across the business area of Compressor Technique within Atlas Copco. We strive to become the business partner for trusted, transparent, and robust enterprise data to enable data driven decision making.
Job description
We are looking for a passionate and committed Scrum Master to be part of the growing Team to support Compressor Technique Information Services (CT-IS) organization within the Business Area Compressor Technique (CT) of Atlas Copco. You are critical to the project’s overall success because you bring the agile mindset to the organization and help the team(s) being more self-organized while creating value to the business. You help in guiding and mentoring the team(s) in the agile way of working and contribute towards the agile transformation within the organization. As Scrum Master you are the facilitator and coach for your scrum team.
The Role
- Promoting and supporting the Agile team in following and practicing the Scrum framework.
- Educating the team in Scrum, and SAFe practices.
- Coaching the team in self-management.
- Helping the team focus on creating an increment of value each iteration.
- Facilitating the removal of impediments to the team’s progress.
- Ensuring that all team events take place, are productive and kept within the timebox.
- Creating the environment for continuous improvement Supporting the overall agile transformation.
- Together with the Product Owner you refine the backlog for the different agile cycles.
- You will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated international team in a challenging and very dynamic environment. As such you will be part of our internal project team working in the data domain alongside an agile coach and other scrum masters. Next to this support to other teams transforming into agile can cross your path along the way. You will report to the IT Team Leader Data.

What we expect of you?
Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have a good blend of business and IT technical skills. Specific requirements for this position include:
- You have a bachelor in IT, or equivalent by experience.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in working for IT projects.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology. You have at least 3 years of experience as a scrum master in an Agile IT development team. Being a Certified scrum master is a plus.
- You can use tools to accommodate efficient collaborations (Confluence, Jira, Teams, …)
- You are proficient in English, both written and oral. Dutch oral skills are considered a plus.
- Experience in working in a large international industrial company is a plus.

Travel can be required occasionally.
Education
Any Graduate ( B.E / B.Tech) in Engineering with atleast 5 years of experience of working for IT Projects and atleast 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile IT dvelopment team . Being a certified scrum master is a plus. .
