About This Role
The candidate will be part of a dynamic team that provides meaningful impact to the business. Support multiple business lines and development/enhancement of data visualization, Data analysis & reporting capabilities to help support across multiple verticals of people domain.
This role involves working with customer success teams, product teams, and data teams to interpret requirements and make design decisions to ultimately create a self-service analytic workbench for internal and external users.
The ideal candidate is a team player who will use their creativity andUI/UX best practices to craft a seamless and intuitive user experience. This role requires an organized, high energy, and accountable individual with high attention to detail and the desire to exceed expectations
Responsibilities
- Design and build reporting and self-service data exploration capabilities, including dashboards, dynamic data visualizations, and static reports to help customer success teams and clients make data-backed decisions.
- Partner with customer success teams, product teams, and other stakeholders to understand each teams data needs and translate them into reporting and tooling that supports our data-driven culture.
- Own data integrity, availability, documentation, and efficient access to data and analyses.
- Responsible for planning and performing reporting, analyses and projects to solve a variety of business issues for a department or functional area.
- Lead the team to achieve project goals and deliverables.
- Drive independent conversations around planning, design and execution of projects with diverse stakeholders.
- Develop understanding of relevant data sources and build trend analysis using statistical and/or financial analysis, process documentation, profitability analysis, customer/demographic analysis, etc.
- Ability to leverage data visualization tools and alternative front-end solutions to delivering data insights.
- Capable of performing ad-hoc analyses and drill down into data inconsistencies and perform root cause analysis for unusual trends and exceptions.
- Work closely with Technology partners to generate new reports or modify current work products to optimize capabilities and improve efficiency
- Follow all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and transitions and ensures the end product fulfills the project objectives
- Engage with US partners directly for development and implementation of all projects
- Thought leadership in the field, mentoring junior team members.
- Proactively seek opportunities to contribute in areas beyond project deliverables like exploratory data analysis, best practices, reusability and automation.
- Proactively seek opportunities to deliver value above and beyond the prescribed book of work.
- Ability to work overlap hours with US team
Required Qualifications
- 8 – 10+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a MS/MA degree orhigher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis
- Understanding of fundamental UI/UX principals including
- User-centered Design and Design Thinking from BI reporting perspective
- 6+ years of experience in BI platform (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc.,) – creating solutions with aid of data visualization.This includes but not limited to developing and creating BI dashboards, working on end to end reports, deriving insights from data
- 6+ years of relevant experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
- 6+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Modeling, Forecasting, Decision Trees as well as other statistical and performance analytics
- 6+ years of experience with Python, SAS, SQL, or other data management, reporting, and query tools
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill
- Exposure & basic knowledge of Data Science, AI good to have
