Hiring, Analyst Programmer (Support) with below skills and expertise.

Essential Skills (Technical)

  • Hands-on experience supporting the following technologies with 2.-5 years
    โ€ข Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
    โ€ข Experience on AWS based applications
    โ€ข UNIX shell scripting (AIX, LINUX preferred)
    โ€ข Database concepts (preferably Oracle) & PL/SQL
    โ€ข Experience working with ETL Tools
    โ€ข Experience using Scheduling tools (preferably Control-M).
    โ€ข Experience working with database performance trouble shooting tools and concepts, preferably with Oracle

Other Essential skills

โ€ข Exposure of working in maintenance and support environment.
โ€ข Ability to analyse complex problems in a structured manner and demonstrate multitasking capabilities.
โ€ข Flexible and approachable team-worker.
โ€ข Ability to operate under pressure and deliver to demanding deadlines.
โ€ข Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
โ€ข Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
โ€ข Degree level qualification or equivalent.

Desirable Skills / Experience
Basic knowledge of Tableau Desktop and its functionalities.
Knowledge of Tableau Dashboard deployment process, connecting to various data sources and data refreshing process.
Knowledge of PowerShell / shell to create scripts.
Knowledge on AWS modules
Knowledge on deployment tools such as Urban Deploy, Jenkins & AWS Codepipeline
Knowledge of ITIL will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Responsible for support operations including health checks, business service requests, production incident investigations and root cause analysis with focus and emphasis on supporting the platforms
โ€ข Ensure adherence to service management standards including incident, problem, change and release management
โ€ข Provide articulate, accurate and timely updates on issues to stakeholders
โ€ข Provide technical guidance and mentoring for the whole team, help troubleshoot complex technical issues.
โ€ข Coordinate and facilitate resolution for major incidents engaging with the incident management team, upstream providers, infrastructure teams etc. as required
โ€ข Follow-up on issues ensuring appropriate remediation tasks are completed
โ€ข Collaborate with delivery teams, ensuring support requirements are met prior to production deployment
โ€ข Responsible for raising change tickets and communicating appropriately
โ€ข Responsible for implementing changes in controlled environments
โ€ข Implement and maintain efficient, well-rehearsed business continuity and service recovery plans
โ€ข Collaborate with regional teams to evolve firm-wide best practices
โ€ข Willing to work in a 24×7 environment participating in an on-call rota as well as night and weekend work
