Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Business Analyst to join our Finance Project Management Office (PMO) team. As a senior-level Business Analyst, you will add value to strategic programs and offerings by driving alignment of business requirements to program objectives, business model changes & offerings standardization while working with a variety of peer teams and delivery organizations to propel Autodesk forward. You will play an integral role in the business planning stages of projects by managing, sustaining, and continuously improving business processes across Finance. Specifically, you will lead the effort to document existing and future-state business processes and workflows. You will evaluate process and policy effectiveness against Autodesk’s corporate objectives and assist with the implementation of process changes. You will act as a liaison between end-users and engineering development teams assisting with requirements documentation and validating solution designs. You will assist with the planning and execution of system and functional testing by documenting use cases, test scenarios, data prerequisites and work with order entry and engineering resources to enable user acceptance testing (UAT). You will also assist with the capturing and communication of change impacts resulting from projects and programs.

The Senior Business Analyst collaborates with stakeholders to identify specific policy, process, data, and system changes by assessing existing systems, business processes, best practices, and business objectives. You will be an integral part of the transformational projects from discovery to testing to delivery. This position reports to the Director, Finance PMO.
Responsibilities

Perform business analysis of current-state processes and influence existing policy and/or process changes to support the future goals of Finance

Document new and/or update existing business process documentation to reflect changes introduced by new projects or programs

Collaborate with Project Managers on tasks related to the planning, scheduling and execution of project activities

Support the development of requirements documentation for projects by working closely with engineering teams and finance stakeholders

Serve as the liaison between multiple teams (engineering, product managers, business SMEs) to work though impact analysis, translation, and refinement of detailed requirements

Influence requirements for processes and systems to support an improved experience for Autodesk employees and customers

Apply appropriate tools and methodologies to implement process and policy changes

Document signoff of requirements and business process workflows

Support UAT activities by working closely with upstream teams to ensure finance testing preconditions are met, including the documentation of test scenarios and test cases, and ensure order data is available

Support change management activities including the documentation of change impacts, reviewing training materials and project communications

Effectively deliver presentations to finance stakeholders and leaders

Support team members and establish healthy, collaborative relationship
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree (finance, information systems, business or accounting) preferred
-
Minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience supporting requirements gathering, business process mapping and system implementations preferred

Experience with business process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)

Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies, Agile/Scrum and Waterfall

Ability to self-manage and proactively organize project activities to achieve success

Ability to facilitate working sessions and drive business outcomes

Ability to initiate and nurture relationship at all levels
