About The Team

The Business Models and Pricing team is a part of the Global Revenue Operations organization, guiding Autodesk’s product teams in how to create best-in-class offerings for customers to buy Autodesk software and services. We use industry benchmarking, customer analytics, price modeling, and change management practices to help teams define, deliver and monitor product offerings. Our team collaborates closely with a global network of stakeholders to deliver offerings to market successfully.

Position Overview

As an Enterprise Business Analyst Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to research how the world’s best-performing software companies sell to their biggest enterprise customers, and help Autodesk build our own best-in-class Enterprise Offerings. You will help define critical business metrics that demonstrate successful outcomes, share findings you’ve collected through one-on-one discussions and research, propose recommendations on benefits to include, and help prepare internal marketing materials that describe the offerings, their benefits, and how they are ordered and delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Dedicated mentor who will help you navigate through Autodesk as a whole. From onboarding to your intern project, your mentor will get you ramped up and ready to make an impact – all while showing you what it means to be at Autodesk!
  • Perform industry discovery work on internal and publicly available business research material, as well as paid services’ resources if available, to document and summarize industry benchmarks and practices, and how we align with those benchmarks.
  • Analyze Autodesk customer buying and usage metrics to identify relevant patterns in customer value, purchase decisions, and any factors that might drive definition of offering features.
  • Support marketing teams, document existing and proposed Enterprise offering materials, using information from your work on the industry discovery, customer analysis, and attributes analyses.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2024 with a major in business or sales
  • Curious and engaged, willing to ask questions, learn, and share with a broad range of like-minded, curious problem solvers
  • Passion for Business-to-Business relationships and the operational dynamics required to create and maintain business partnerships with high quality.
  • Comfortable interviewing stakeholders one-on-one, as well as authoring and editing technical and marketing content for internal discussion and socialization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior sales experience in the software or consulting/services industry
  • Strong finance and/or marketing background to help guide your analysis of cost, revenue, and ROI

About The US Intern Program

The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 – August 11 or June 12 – September 1). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development.
