Position Overview:
Autodesk ACS (Autodesk Construction Solutions) R&D team is looking for a Data Scientists to join a team of talented data scientists in India. ACS leverages variety of machine learning (ML) approaches to automatically analyze and extract construction specifications from project manuals and drawings to streamline critical workflows in the entire construction project life cycle.

The selected candidates must be willing to work with ML/DL problems along with Senior Data Scientists and Senior Engineering leaders in solving business problems for the customers.
Data Scientist Competencies
Scope
- Thinks deeply about models assumption and identify the optimal solution for the project.
- Contribute idea for projects and optimizing the personal productivity to align with business decision and bring customers value
- Comfortable to support other projects if necessary
Technical Knowledge
- Apply the domain knowledge to collect data, process data, analyze data with little guidance
- Comfortable to write high quality of code, follow company code review standard, and implement the data science models
- Deeply understand machine learning, continue to learn the new models, and continue to apply it to day to day work
Execution and Project Management
- Efficiently communicate the technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable to review the performance and quality of models, and is able to explain the business value with non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable to setup projects timeline, update the progress, and track the status
Skills
- 3-5 years of work experience in Machine Learning field
- A solid understanding of statistics, probability and Machine Learning
- A solid knowledge of programming in Python and any another programming language like Java, C#, Javascript/HTML etc.
- Experienced with solving Machine learning, supervised and unsupervised algorithms, various architectures of neural networks, transfer learning in areas of NLP and Computer Vision.
- Hands-on experience with deploying models to production by building and deploying ML pipelines from data ingestion, preparation to deploying models in production.
- Knowledge of Tensorflow or Pytorch is a significant advantage.
- Prior experience in using AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML Studio, GCP etc is a significant added bonus.
- Good communication skills.
- A go-getter attitude with a drive for execution
Educational Qualification
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech from reputed institutes
