Job Summary
The innovation team is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team in Pune. You will need to be a team player and pure technologist to join us to build innovative solutions, using existing technologies or testing newly released ones!
Job Duties:
- Open to new technologies, analyse the existing solutions and propose better and efficient alternatives.
- Develop, maintain, Data & analytic solutions to solve a variety of problems and enable data-driven decision making to support business partners.
- Complete project work such as market basket analysis, predictive modelling, optimization, forecasting, customer segmentation, anomaly detection, geospatial analysis, data visualization, dashboard creation, and process automation.
- Collaborate with a multi-functional, highly matrixed organization to understand business needs & questions, and identify the best solution to fit the need of our partners.
- Be self-critical and provide constructive feedback to other team members while developing engaging analytics solutions.
- Lead design and feedback sessions through the development and maintenance of solutions while recognizing when to push on principles of the team or comprise to build the best solution possible.
- Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Works on complex projects of large scope with the help of senior team members.
- Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives.
- Completes work independently receives general guidance on new projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum BS degree in computer science or technology-related fields.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a data-oriented position.
- Experience with machine learning and statistical modelling techniques (R or Python preferred).
- Working knowledge of databases and data manipulation tools including Alteryx desktop and server, SQL.
- Data visualization experience including PowerBI, PowerApps.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, Git and JIRA is a plus.
- Experience developing creative and innovative analytical insights.
- Team player, eager to learn and wanting to evolve.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of working in a SaaS organisation would be highly desirable.
- Tax Technology or experience within the Big 4 would be outstanding.
- Additional language capabilities would also be really useful in this role.
